Perched along Charleston’s iconic waterfront, the Dockside Condominiums restoration brought new life to a coastal landmark suffering from decades of saltwater exposure. Kennedy Richter Construction led the structural rehabilitation of the 18-story tower’s parking garage and plaza deck, restoring over 80,000 square feet of deteriorated concrete while residents remained safely in place. The complex scope included precision shoring, advanced cathodic protection systems, post-tension cable repairs, waterproofing, and a complete plaza redesign featuring new drains, curbs, and pedestal pavers. Through innovative engineering, meticulous quality control, and coastal craftsmanship, Dockside was transformed from a corroding structure into a revitalized, durable foundation built to withstand the next generation of waterfront living.
